Childcare in is DANGER

With new TK and ETK legislation childcare providers are at risk like never before. Some of us barely survived Covid19 and now full day Early Transitional and Transitional Kindergarten are going to drive us out of business. We need the infant allowance raised and the age of children being qualified as a toddler lowered.

The overwhelmingly sad part of this is that this puts a child in school for up to 16 years before they enter higher education. Studies have shown that although children in TK and ETK thrive in their first few years of elementary school that gain is lost and these children tend to struggle when heading into higher grades. Children should not be sitting at a desk at these early ages, they learn by play.
