Help an innocent man get released from prison after 16 years of incarceration.

Help an innocent man get released from prison after 16 years of incarceration.
The Issue
At the age of 17, Anthony Ortiz was falsely accused and convicted of first degree murder. Anthony is now serving his 17th year for a crime he didn't do. Anthony was torn away from his family and his son had to grow up without a father. Now, after Anthony has spent half of his life in prison, Brandon O'Guynn, the person who did the crime, has come forward and confessed.
We now have an opportunity to ask Governor Newsom to release Anthony and we ask that you help us to get enough signatures to move Governor Newsom to grant Clemency and let him out. If we don’t get enough signatures, Anthony may spend the rest of his life in prison for someone else’s crime. Here are some highlights of the evidence that proves Anthony's Innocence:
>On October 29th, 2017, Brandon O’Guynn came forward and signed a notarized confession that he in fact was the one who murdered Mr. Leydeer Molina.
>The trial prosecutor himself stated on record to the jury that he believed that the evidence shows that Anthony did not personally shoot Mr. Molina and that it was O'Guynn.
>The prosecutor presented four witnesses that testified to the fact that Anthony was not the one who fatally shot Mr. Molina.
>O'Guynn owned the murder weapon.
>Bullets found during a search of O'Guynn's residence matched the shell casing found at the scene.
Anthony has used his time in prison wisely, staying productive and bettering himself along the way. Anthony has taken Microsoft computer programs courses, has taken self help classes, and is just a few classes away from an associates in business, just to name a few.
Please take a minute to sign if you believe this man should be free. I would be extremely grateful if my husband Anthony could come home to me. Thank you for your time.
