The American people who are unemployed because of the pandemic are on the line for evictions as soon as the no-eviction bill expires in just only a few days. Landlords already have drafted eviction papers if the tenants are not able to bring the past due rent current within 30days. And even if some landlords are willing to negotiate payment arrangements they are still requiring current rent plus all past due rent to be paid over 12 months, so that’s basically double rent. Ex. My rent is 3000, so they want $6000 for each month that I was unable to pay and they still did a yearly rent increase of over $100.00. My unemployment of $450/wk doesn’t even cover one months rent. That’s not realistic! The American people can barley afford their current rent and if they can it’s because they are working 2-3 jobs and never have quality time to be with their family. The American people deserve a clean slate from ALL debit so we can start to rebuild our lives, minds, body and souls. The American people don’t ask for much but at this time we are counting on our leaders of the U.S of America to support the American people and relieve the stress and strain that all the chaos is causing people to the American people’s mental health  while trying to provide for their families.
