Cameron Hooker's probable cause hearing pushed out to April

SAN MATEO COUNTY, Calif. - The probable cause hearing in the Cameron Hooker case has been pushed out to April 18, according to the Tehama County District Attorney’s Office.
The court pushed the hearing out as the district attorney is currently in trial and waiting for records.
Cameron Hooker cases moves to probable cause hearing
The probable cause hearing is expected to last two days. After that, the judge will determine if the case will continue moving forward to a trial to determine if Hooker should be labeled as a sexually violent predator.
If found guilty, Hooker would remain in jail and receive mental health treatment. If found not guilty, Hooker could be released on parole under certain conditions.
In 1985, Hooker was convicted for brutal, years-long imprisonment and sexual assaults on Colleen Stan in the late 1970s until the early 1980s.
