Victory!

Dear friends, 

I am really pleased to inform you that I had approached the Mayor of Indore, Smt Malini Gaur with my petition and she instantly agreed to look into the matter and do the needful. She has also responded officially through the local newspaper, mentioning that action is being taken to solve the issue, so much so that, one of the junctions mentioned in our petition already has a traffic signal installed! 

After around 6 months of research, I had started this petition in September 2018, after a suggestion from my husband that we should do something to improve the unruly traffic situation of Indore. It took me 6 months to gather the support of over 35000 people, by directly approaching some, by the help of social media, asking each one of you to sign and share the petition, and also by gaining the support of a local radio channel. 

I would really like to thank each one of you for having supported this cause and helping Indore move one step closer to road safety. Your signature has made a difference in someone's life. Every signature counts, and holds a great value in bringing about positive changes in the country, be it one small step at a time. Please keep signing, sharing and supporting good causes that you come across, and maybe running petitions too, about things that matter to you !
