To residents of Indie Deep Ellum, LTH, and Patrons of Salon Suites,

I am writing this petition to address the ongoing issue of the gate always being broken and the lack of security measures in place. As a resident of this community, I have noticed that the gate is frequently out of order and often left open, which poses a significant safety risk for all residents.

Theres also a monthly cost to park in this garage, however, anyone is free to drive in and out of the garage for FREE!! 

Furthermore, I have been unfairly blamed for breaking the gate and being asked to vacate my apartment by June 3rd 2023. Despite my repeated attempts to explain that I am not responsible for its malfunctioning, no action has been taken to rectify the situation or hold those accountable who are actually responsible for breaking the gate.

According to recent crime statistics in our area, there has been an increase in burglaries and thefts. It is imperative that we take necessary steps to ensure our community's safety by fixing the gate and implementing proper security measures.

I urge you to take immediate action by repairing the gate and installing additional security features such as cameras or security guards. This will not only provide peace of mind for residents but also deter potential criminals from targeting our community.

By signing this petition it shows that you've witnessed the P2 parking garage gate being broken for majority of the month. It's been a major inconvenience for everyone that occupies this garage. We want to see some action taken to fix the issue and prevent it from continuing to happen. By signing the petition, I hope to show that there's a real problem that needs to be addressed.
