We, the Alumini - former and current of East Gaston High school as well as Gaston County and state of NC taxpayers  are demanding that the current changes to the exterior facade be changed back  to suit the schools original colors of Red ( Maroon) White and Blue from current scheme as current scheme does not represent the schools inception from opening nor does it represent former alumni who take this change without notice of very personal and deep. Former classes paid for the Warrior and signage that was displayed Proudly over the years and without any known offense until recent removal. Local native Americans have even voiced the dis approval of removing the Warrior from school as they aren’t offended. Currently- many are now offended and or angry upset that such has occurred with out any notice of. The Warrior symbol is of Pride and Strength meaning - not offensive to Native Americans - to which East Gaston Alumni want preserved. The signatures below are the voices demanding we be heard and taken seriously to preserving East Gaston High school heritage and the change to make it happen. Thank you - East Gaston Alumni
