Our students and staff members are taking the very crowded subway to school every day, coming into contact with many people. We think they are in an extremely dangerous situation, especially as the amount of confirmed cases in New York rises to 142 people. 

We think the use of online classes should be considered as a safe alternative. The safety of Garden School students and staff should be our highest priority right now. With today’s technology, we will still be able to progress academically as well as keep everyone safe. 

In short for safety purposes we are asking the administration to please take in consideration  to close the school temporarily, and have our kids and teachers communicate via email, Skype, or other sources to progress academically.
