MILLENNIUM SKATEPARK, which was opened almost 20 years ago for Galway's skateboarding community, was Galway City's first ever skate facility.

However, today the skate park is now dangerous, overcrowded and outdated.

Please sign and share our petition far and wide to show Galway City Council that with input from local Galway skaters in the redesign, the upgrading of the skatepark to a more safe sustainable concrete facility is a priority for you, Galway's thriving skateboarding community, and a city that was once designated European Capital of Culture 2020.
