Have you heard that the Galway City Council are looking at banning the following:

* Rollerblading on the Promenade
* Ball Games in local Parks & Beaches
* Climbing Trees/Fences/Walls
* Picking Flowers
* Being a child**

Now, I am not sure if this ridiculous motion is down to one of our "talented" Councillors or a bunch of them but either way the people of Galway City need to show our local council that we will NOT stand for this. 

As well as our workers emigrating, they'll soon have our toddlers emigrating too as they soon won't have permission to be a CHILD in Ireland!!

They really need to sit down and work on more pressing matters for the love of God, like the drugs problem in the city, the lack of social housing, lack of disabled parking spaces e.t.c...Councillors are getting paid far too much for sitting down to come up with this kind of tripe!!!

One of Galway's biggest problem is the lack of public amenities and now they have banned playing ball on a bloody BEACH!!! I just don't know. Somebody with power in that building needs to WAKE UP & COP ON!!!

 

Please SIGN the petition and show Galway City Council just how many of us do not agree with these so-called "laws"!!! Let our Kids be kids!
