1) CHANNEL 4 NEWS Today I took Channel 4 News Investigative Reporter Steve Mehling and his camera to 3 interviews at: (Location 1)The Gallatin Marina, (Location 2) Douglas Bend Boat Launch and (Location 3) The Main Entrance of Foxland Harbor and the Douglas Bend Road. PLEASE watch for it on the news today at 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm and 6 pm.

2) HUGE News: We now have 1,244 signatures 87 NEW Signatures this week already Opposing the Proposed Foxland Harbor Marina Project!!! WOW!!!
I feel 1,244 neighbors signatures constitute a significant impact requiring a Full Environmental Impact Study which is an expensive multi year process and requires establishment of additional mitigation measures.
These signatures are making a difference with The Corp's decision and with our local, state and federal politicians (John Rose, Bill Hagerty and Marsha Blackburn) as every vote counts for them in an election so every opposing signature matters!!!  Please open, sign and share the attached link with others and also share on social media lets get 1,500 signatures. https://chng.it/F5ndg6Pq2t

3) Public Meeting will be held tomorrow October 24th from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at the Caudill Auditorium, 1480 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066. PLEASE be in attendance and be prepared to ask questions and make comments regarding the Environmental Assessment that was submitted to The Corp.

It's my understanding the format for the meeting will involve a centralized opportunity for public comments followed by some breakouts into small groups. The Corp is working through exactly how to best facilitate the public comment period due to the large expected number of attendees.
