Thank you all for taking your time to sign my petition to build a skate park in Gainesville, Ga. Thanks for each and every comment. I could not have made this possible without you. Gainesville City Council and Gainesville City Park and Recreation accepted this petition and started construction this summer 2019. There were several meetings on the design process. In the end Gainesville will be getting a $1.3 million dollar concrete skate park. This park was designed by Wally Hollyday renowned skate park designer from California. The park will cater to street skaters as well as vert skaters. It will have good flow... It is going to be good. Thanks again for all coming together for this skate park. It is up to us as a community to keep it free from drugs, violence and graffiti. Skate fast... skate tuff...
