Animal abuse is rife in Ireland and is escalating at an alarming rate. Research has revealed that Irish GAA clubs allow Fox, Stag and Hare hunting clubs to use their club premises as hunting meets, also Circuses using animals have been  allowed to rent the club land. Live Hare Coursing is also allowed to use the GAA clubs pitch as in Millstreet Co Cork.
