I am calling upon Hertfordshire County Council to implement speed restrictions along the entirety of Gadebridge Road, due to the significantly dangerous conditions for both pedestrians and car users. I am also calling upon Hertfordshire County Council to urgently reinstate the school crossing patrols at both Gade Valley and Galley Hill schools.  With 4 schools, soon to be 5 schools, on the same road, the amount of vehicular movement and parked cars significantly restricts visibility.  Speed limitations would reduce the potential for a child or adult becoming seriously injured.  Pedestrians can not see to cross the road and cyclists' and car drivers' views are obstructed when turning out of side roads and their driveways.  The current situation is putting children's and residents' lives at risk and I urge Hertfordshire County Council to take prompt action to ensure the road safety of all our school children and adult residents.
