This is important because of what could happen if we- as humans- don't do something about this. Animals effect on us gone  because of what we are doing to them now. All over the world animals are being abused and safety endangered by our reckless behavior.  Animals abused in labratories and others at their owners homes. Their at least needs to be a law protecting them from umhumane torture amd treatment.

Many companies test thier products on animals and it's wrong. These next paragraphs are main types of animal testing that companies do with an explanation.

Eye Irritancy- Using a test called the Drazie Eye Test rabbits are restrained and products are introduced to the eyes. 

Acute toxicity-Most of the time mice and rats are used for this type of testing. Acute Toxicity testing tests for the danger of exposure of the mouth, skin, or inhalation. Some tests end with death while others end with visible pain or suffering. In the end all animal 'participants' are killed so a necropsy can be taken to see the effects of the chemical or product.

Repeat dose toxicity-Similar to acute toxicity testing only this test uses many doses over 4-week or 90 day testing periods. Testing subjects are either small rodents or dogs. 

Skin Corositivity/ Irritaion-This test studies the amount of irreversable damage to the skin. Tests are usually taken on rabbits. The outcomes of these tests are inapplicable to determine skin irritation on humans. That's really wrong.

Skin Sensitization-This is used to test if a chemical causes an allergic reaction. In past tests chemicals were injected into shaved patches of skin on guines pigs. Now chemicals are added to sudstances to create an allergic reaction in guinea pigs. Other tests apply the test chemicals to the ears of mice. At the end of this test the mice are killed even though they don't actually endure as much pain as guinea pigs.

Dermal Penetration- A.K.A. skin absorbtion tests analyze the way chemicals move from the skin to the blood stream. Rats are usually the animals chosen for these tests.

If this happens and people do something to protect animals from abuse; who knows exactly what the effect will be on our society. Hopefully, animals will stop being immorally abused and injured.
