Gabriel Buckley - Dump David Leyonhjelm

Gabriel Buckley - Dump David Leyonhjelm
The issue
3 people tragically lost their lives in a senseless attack in Bourke St Mall on Friday 20th January 2017.
In response to an article published on Twitter by the Herald Sun regarding the attack, Senator David Leyonhjelm of the Liberal Democratic Party tweeted "Probably one of those semi-automatic assault cars."
Senator Leyonhjelm used this tragedy to promote his personal political agenda with little or no respect towards the victims, their families, witnesses and the wider Australian community.
Furthermore, Senator Leyonhjelm responded to the immense criticism of his initial tweet with "Fake outrage ensues over obvious point about "rogue" car". The Senator has proven that he has no respect for the victims of tragedy, a point further strengthened by his unapologetic response to understandable criticism.
We demand that Gabriel Buckley, President of the Liberal Democratic Party, sack Senator Leyonhjelm in light of this incident.
