Ban r/Politics From Reddit [HIDDEN SCORE] User Comment Brigading

The Issue

r/Politics used to be a subreddit community where comments could be judged based on highest total votes. This still holds true in most other moderated subreddits.

Total votes displayed beside comments in r/Politics threads now typically read [score hidden].

r/Politics is the only standing example on Reddit of how Media Matters - through Correct The Record and Share Blue  - run vote brigading campaigns with a clear political agenda to bury unsavory posts. These vote brigading campaigns violate Reddit's terms of service and individual user agreements, not to mention severely dilute the overall user experience.

r/Politics used to be a real community; now it is bought and paid for.

While subscribed Redditors of the formerly beloved r/Politics watched administrators tailor code in some fashion to ameliorate the displaced community, we (the 'displaced community') feel that r/Politics is a lost cause for impartiality and thereby petition Reddit to ban r/Politics as a community altogether.
