Longwood Mother Bear Escapes Death!

The traps set for the Longwood, FL mother bear who acted in defense of her cubs were removed on Sept. 12th. This petition will remain active until the FWC changes their bear killing policy.

The FWC stated that if the mother bear were caught, she would have been euthanized.
