Every single person who went to those parties over the weekend signed an agreement saying that they would not participate in actions like this which jeopardize the safety of our campus. They then went out and blatantly violated the agreement that they signed and are putting not only our health but our education at risk. For this violation, we the students of Furman university believe that all 53 confirmed participants of the party should be sent home and not allowed back on campus this semester for this egregious violation of trust and safety. Furthermore, we the students of Furman University believe that any violations of a similar nature during the fall semester, should carry a similar punishment.
