Case Closed (Known as Detective Conan in Japan) was created by mangaka author Gosho Aoyama back in the early 1990's and was released in 1994 in Japan and picked up in the USA in 2003 by FUNimation to be dubbed & released to the public. 

It follows the story of High School Detective Jimmy Kudo (Shinichi Kudo in Japanese) when he gets transformed into a young boy by a mysterious drug that was fed to him by the secret Black Organization. He must help out his Girlfriend's father named Richard (Kogoro) Moore to gain success as a detective so that he can somehow find the Black Organization and create a cure to become a teenager once again. 

FUNimation has successfully released seasons 1-5 of Case Closed in America along with Movies 1-6. 

But they have stopped recording and dubbing the movies for almost 4 years since the release of the 6th film & have stopped recording the series for almost 11 years. 

Though Viz Media has continued to publish the Case Closed manga series in English which has served as a fuel for people to continue supporting Gosho Aoyama's work. 

We fans believe that Case Closed has as much right to be released in America continuously as Naruto, BLEACH, One Piece and all the new popular anime that is coming out today.
