In this day and age, predators are unfortunately more active than ever before. People are coming out with their stories and experiences with these predators, which is a fantastic way to ensure that those wrongdoers are getting the punishment they deserve.

However, Vic Mignogna is not one of these predators.

An unfortunate side effect of this movement is that certain individuals may exaggerate details or create blatant lies in order to expose an innocent person. Such is the case with popular voice actor Vic Mignogna.

Most commonly known as the English voice actor for Broly in the Dragon Ball franchise, Vic has been the subject of some recent accusations of assault, harrassment, homophobia, pedophilia, and many other uncomfortable topics. These accusations have, unsurprisingly, resulted in his swift termination from Rooster Teeth, and even his longtime home at Funimation.

But we cannot allow baseless accusations to put an end to Vic's career.

Not only are some of these claims baseless, but they are simply untrue. Here is a video debunking the claim that Vic is homophobic, as he, a Christian man, is actively defending homosexuals from protestors who claim to practice the same faith as him.

On top of that, Vic's lengthy and emotional apology demonstrates that the hugs and kisses on the face were meant for nothing more than appreciation and friendliness towards his fans.

As a man of European descent, it is important to note that such actions are often used with total strangers as a warm and friendly greeting overseas.

Signing this petition will give our voices a chance to be heard. We should not be living in an era where a man has to break down into tears and applogize for hugging people. Let Funimation and Rooster Teeth know that we want Vic to have just as fair of a chance as the ones making false or exaggerated accusations about him.
