Nothing is cheap now of days, an average rehab cost around 2,000-10,000 dollars. While a 30 day stay can cost around 6,000- 30,000 dollars. This being so expensive is going to make it hard for people to quit drugs.  What's at risk, you may ask? This can increase substance abuse and alcohol abuse for those who can't afford rehab. Secondly, there can be a strain on healthcare system, this can increase emergency room visits. And failure to address issues early through rehab services often results in higher medical costs over time, including costs for chronic health conditions, hospitalizations, and emergency interventions. This also can drain families, without rehab services, relationships can break down, leading to divorces, child neglect, and family separations. This petition calls for expanded funding for rehab centers, citing the lack of affordable options for those battling addiction.
