Updated Goal to Fund Jackson Mann; New Public Meeting Dates

Hello Jackson Mann supporter!

We recently updated the goal of the petition. Originally, this petition was to ask the city to keep the community center open during reconstruction. The city did not keep the community center open, nor did they begin reconstruction. Now the programs are running again at Jackson Mann with no funding commitments and no clear path forward on replacing the community center. Our new goals reflect this need:

Our demands for Mayor Wu and City Hall:

1. Commit the requested $65 million into the city budget.
2. Commit to a construction timeline with specific start and finish dates.
3. Commit to a transition plan during construction, phased if necessary, that will ensure continuity of services for those participating in programs at Jackson Mann.
