Thank you for signing the petition asking the Irvine City Council to support a school bus for our high school students. We have over 300 signers, and many of whom have personal stories about how the lack of transportation to school impacted their family or child. If you can find any way to join concerned parents at the City Council meeting on July 25 at 5 p.m., and take 1-3 minutes to share your personal experience, it will make a big impact. The city has millions of dollars in discretionary spending, and a school bus is an easy way to cut on our carbon footprint and traffic congestion, while improving safety and livability for Irvine families. But the council has to understand that there truly is demand in the community. if you can, RSVP to join us at the meeting to tell them we need a bus. (Zoom option will be available.)
