TO:    Kootenai County Board of County Commissioners

The winter recreational users of the Fernan Parking Trailhead encourage the Kootenai County Commissioners to procure additional funding resources to continue providing wintertime access to the Fernan Hill Parking area.  This high elevation recreational parking area provides not only the best early and late snowmobiling in the area, it is the largest parking lot and most central to the region.  It is used by a wide variety of recreationists, including snowmobilers, tracked ATVs & UTVs, dog sledders, fat tire bikes, skiers, snow bikes and snowshoers.  This is beneficial to the culture and the economics of the area.  By signing below, I support this petition and call upon the Kootenai County Commissioners to take immediate action as requested above.
