Look, I know I'm not the only one who hates iReady and Prodigy was my way out of iReady, Prodigy was what made iReady worth it. But, In August in 2021 Fulton County Schools blocked Prodigy Because it was Unprofessional or 'Not a valid learning Resource'. This is (in my opinion) untrue. Prodigy is iReady (Learning Resource) but actually fun. And get this, it's educational! Prodigy was something- The first thing to keep me engaged and excited about math! But as soon as it was blocked, all we had was iReady which, in my opinion, sucks.

Why iReady Sucks:

1. It gives unnecessary stress; Students are forced to do iReady as part of there grades. This creates the pressure to do minutes and pass lessons, for a tool that won't teach them anything.
2. Doesn't teach anything; When iReady fails a lesson it just makes you re-do it instead of teaching you. So you end up doing the whole lesson again instead of being taught what you don't understand.
3. iReady is NOT fun; iReady is 50% crummy story lines and characters (e.g. Bake Stars or iSpot). Unlike prodigy they just assume what kids like, Prodigy knows kids like video games so they made one.

We the peeps Prodigy Unblocked & iReady Gone! (Mostly iReady Gone) Sometimes, if you don't do your iReady you don't get something that we all deserve...RECESS. I don’t know how many schools have been affected, but I do know it’s know it’s not just mine!  so even if your in a different school please sign!
