We would like for Fulton County Schools to delay the return to face-to-face instruction
We would like for Fulton County Schools to delay the return to face-to-face instruction
The Issue
We, as Fulton County Schools employees, are concerned about our safety due to:
1) increases in the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths, along with the new variant strand B.1.1.7;
2) limited access to the COVID-19 vaccines that were developed quickly and may not be 100% safe; and
3) the civil unrest that may occur the week of January 19th in response to the inauguration.
In spite of these concerns, our school district leadership has made the decision to resume face-to-face instruction with students on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
We feel that our school district leadership is putting the lives of its students, teachers, administrators, and staff at risk unnecessarily.
Please sign this petition to stand with us against the decisions being made by our school district leadership. Our lives depend upon it, literally.
