I can’t even remember where I got this shirt from but I found it in my closet and felt called to wear it today.

I feel forsaken by some of our TN legislators.  Especially the chair of the House Health committee who happens to be a Physician who was primarily responsible.

Did you know that they walked away from $8 million dollars to help healthcare in rural TN which just so happens to be the majority of TN?  It is part of the federal grant called the Rural Health Transformation Program.

They walked away from it instead of passing a bill that would make APRNs be able to practice to the full extent of our education.

As an APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) aka Family Nurse Practitioner in TN, we have to pay a physician every month to sign 20% of our charts.  Twenty-seven states have already passed Full Practice Authority (FPA) for APRNs which eliminates this nonsense.

The TN Governor passed FPA during Covid but then took it back.  So APRNs are safe to practice to the full extent of our education during a pandemic but not when there is not?

Please share this petition to show your support and encourage others sign it and include a comment of why they support FPA for APRNs. If you live in TN, please contact your legislators regarding them turning down $8 million dollars for healthcare in rural TN.
