A neon green sex toy was thrown onto the field during the Titans vs. Vikings preseason game in Nashville—just feet from players in the middle of live play.

This wasn’t a prank. It was a public security breach and part of a disturbing pattern of harassment at professional sporting events.

Similar stunts have already resulted in multiple arrests at WNBA games. Now, it’s spreading to the NFL.

If someone had thrown a heavier object—or if it had struck a player mid-play—this could have ended in injury, not headlines. Stadium security must be better. The consequences must be real.

The NFL and Tennessee Titans to fully cooperate with Metro Nashville Police and publicly commit to prosecuting offenders;

NFL leadership and stadium security teams nationwide to adopt stricter pre-entry screening, increase visible in-game security, and ban any fan caught throwing objects for life.

These incidents aren’t harmless. They’re coordinated, humiliating, and designed to go viral at someone else’s expense. Players deserve to do their jobs without fear of becoming targets. And fans—especially families and kids—deserve to feel safe in the stands.
