We, the undersigned students and supporters, that the graduation ceremony be moved from the Fairmont Senior Field House to East West Stadium. The current venue, the Field House, has significantly less seating capacity compared to the stadium, which unfairly limits the number of family and friends who can attend this important milestone in our lives.

The class of 2024 had the privilege of graduating from East West

Stadium and with a graduating class of 182, and seating capacity at the stadium was limited. It was limited because the venue became so full of family, friends and supporters that there were very few empty seats. The Fairmont Senior Field House only has 2033 seats compared to the 5800 at the stadium. The class of 2025 has 211 students. 29 more than the class of 2024. If seating capacity at the larger venue becomes limited with a smaller class then it is not possible to fairly host the graduation ceremony at the Fairmont Senior Field House, the smaller venue.

We acknowledge the time, dedication, and money that they have put into renovating the field house, and we are extremely grateful for this. However, simply having AC is not worth having many family members unable to attend.

For the past 13 years, we have worked incredibly hard to reach this point, and it is only fair that we celebrate our achievements surrounded by all the people who have supported and raised us. The stadium offers seating to accommodate everyone who wishes to share in this joyous occasion, ensuring that no one is excluded from witnessing this momentous event in our lives.

We believe that moving the graduation ceremony to East West Stadium will provide a more inclusive and memorable experience for all graduates and their supporters.
