Here at Fredonia State University, we don't have many places to get our food from. We only have 2 dining halls (The Cranston Marche and a Centre Pointe), a Tim Hortons, a Starbucks, and a convenient store. Despite the limited options, however, this would not be as bad if the food quality was improved. 

We the students are extremely displeased with the service and quality of the food that is served to us. The purpose of a school cafeteria is to provide students with healthy, affordable, and good quality food. Many people have been complaining this past year, and especially this semester about the unsanitary conditions the food is also being cooked in, yet nothing was done about it. People have discovered bugs in their food, moldy food in the dining halls, and moldy packaged food from the convenience store. Packaged foods are supposed to be something of a last resort. What will we eat if even they are moldy? We are paying thousands of dollars for this meal plan, so we are obligated to eat the food on campus, but the food quality is poor and there are limited options. Something needs to be done about it! We are not asking for much; all we want is an environment where we can trust that our food is being cooked in the best condition and also, great food!

Bad food negatively affects our health. In order for us to succeed here, we need to also eat well. We should not have to rely on off campus food, especially because most of us live on campus. Sign this petition so we can bring attention to this pressing issue!
