We, the undersigned, are safety professionals. As FAA certified first responders, we are trusted to remain alert to a potential health or safety related issue with the passengers and yet management does not trust us to make the same determination for ourselves without the heavy-handed threat of discipline. It is insulting and shows a complete lack of respect for our careers. The previous Dependability Program should be reinstated and changes to it should only be made during negotiations for our new contract.
