The FUGS has always been an iconic weapon in the Dark Souls franchise, it has always been a symbol of pure strength and the will to wield a very large and heavy piece of black slate. It also brought the idea of a Greatsword being used as a shield in both Dark Souls II and Dark Souls III which as far as I know, nobody did before. When Dark Souls III came out, the FUGS was indeed over-powered with the ability to 2 hit kill people, but was then nerfed into what it is now. In it's current state, the FUGS is highly under-used due to its low attack rating compared to other strike weapons and also other Ultra Greatswords (Even at 66 strength). It also has a higher stamina consumption than other weapons of its category, making it less desirable. The only redeeming quality is that it can be buffed. I'm willing to give up that ability to be buffed as long as the attack rating goes up, it already has an S in strength, why does it need to be buffed? Most builds using it will be mainly strength only builds so again, why is it buffable? If not that, I still would like a buff in some aspect of the damage because right now, it does not represent that strength and might, only disappointment. Thank you for your time.
