We demand justice, transparency, and fair compensation for victims of COVID-19 vaccine injuries.

I am writing this petition not only on my behalf but on behalf of thousands of others whose lives have been profoundly altered by adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccines. I was a single mother and a dedicated school counselor, faithfully serving my community and following the mandates issued for public health and safety.

In 2021, I received the COVID-19 vaccine under a workplace mandate. Soon after, I experienced severe, ongoing health complications that were later confirmed to be vaccine-related. As a result, I have lost my health, my career, my independence, and tragically, connection with my family. I now live each day fighting to survive the consequences of a decision I made in service of my community and country.

We followed the rules. We were told it was safe. When things went wrong, we were abandoned.

The U.S. government currently routes COVID-19 vaccine injury claims through the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP)—a system that has proven deeply flawed and inaccessible:

  • Out of over 12,000 claims filed, only a handful (11) have been compensated.
  • The program lacks transparency, offers no appeals process, and excludes coverage for pain and suffering, long-term care, or legal costs.
  • Injured individuals are given only one year to file a claim—often before their full condition is even understood.

This is not just a legal failure—it is a moral one. As a nation that promoted and in some cases mandated the vaccine for the collective good, we owe those harmed a path to healing and justice.

We call for the following urgent reforms:

  1. Move COVID-19 vaccine injury claims under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP), or establish a new, accessible program with equivalent or better protections.
  2. Provide compensation for medical care, lost income, legal support, pain and suffering, and long-term disability.
  3. Create a transparent, accountable review process that includes the right to appeal.
  4. Extend the filing deadline to allow claimants adequate time for diagnosis and documentation.
  5. Acknowledge and publicly address the human cost of vaccine injuries—without shame or silence.

We are not anti-vaccine. We are pro-accountability, pro-compassion, and pro-justice. We represent mothers, fathers, nurses, teachers, veterans, and countless others who believed in the promise of public health—and paid an unfair price.

We ask that you hear our voices, see our pain, and take action now.

Please sign and share this petition to demand reform. Together, we can ensure no one who was harmed for the public good is left behind.

Sincerely,
