Dark Souls I is arguably the best game From Software has made yet. Many people still play this game but it does not feel the same as it is not as active or full of modders and cheaters. A Dark Souls I remaster feels appropriate mainly because the Dark Souls III release is a long way away and this would be a great opportunity to, A, Make more money for development, and B, keep the series very alive and give the chance for new people to experience Dark Souls in its prime time.
