The Friends of Gladstone Depot, Inc. are trying to save a 1889 Train Station that CSX wants to demolish but was promised that the people of a poverty stricken part of Nelson County could use as a community center for the Youth and Senoirs as well as saving a part of Virginia's History. CSX reneged on a deal made with Neson County and the Friends of Gladstone Depot, Inc. that they would donate the depot so it could be saved and used as a Community Center. Everyone needs to contact Governor Ralph Northam to step in and stop the Distruction of another part of Virginia's Rich Railroad History. This is the last station Built by Richmond & Allegheny Railroad left Standing ! It's irreplaceable and should be save.
