Traffic Study/ Accident Analysis!

Our petition is beginning to have a positive effect on making a meaningful change. On 3/15/23 I received a phone call from The Maryland Dept. Of Transportation (District 7) to address our concerns. The District Lead was kind enough to speak and listen at length, ultimately committing to a Traffic study, accident analysis, and comparing data with similar roads in the region to determine if intervention is needed. The estimated time frame for the study is about 3 months, so by June we should have some more data to add to our already growing list of anecdotal evidence. I will be in touch with MDOT in the future for status updates. Please continue to provide support for the cause and recruit people who have not yet signed!
