The county has heard the community’s concerns regarding Harrison Ballfield.The petitions that opposed any development have been acknowledged, leading the planning committee to pause activity temporarily.

First Planning Meeting & What You Need to Know:
Date/Time: Wednesday, December 10, 2025; 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Location: Lake County Public Library, AMAX Conference Room. 1115 Harrison Ave, Leadville, CO 80461
Purpose: The county will be actively collecting community feedback at this meeting on what should be done with the ballfield and where alternative affordable housing could be located.

Attendance is vital, but if anyone can’t attend in person, please email harrisonballfield@gmail.com to request a special survey link so your input is counted.
