HELP FRONTIER GUARDIANS FAMILY! One of our clients dumped their dog in a stinking shelter in KY. We had professional transports ready to pick up the dog, when they just dropped off the planet, blocked us, quit taking calls, and was not answering calls for transport. We were contacted in short order, as a shelter volunteer knew the dog and that it had come from us. We IMMEDIATELY CALLED the shelter, left messages, and wrote emails. What was the response.
"Your contract means nothing, and the dog is now property of Davies County Animal Shelter." We have had professional transports waiting for days to pic this dog up and take her home, and they HAVE NOT EVEN CALLED US BACK! I have called the Davies County Attorneys office several times, and they are not willing to help in any way.
Now the Davies County Animal Shelter is withholding the dog - HAS SPAYED HER - and has PLACED HER in a "Rescue". A FRONTIER GUARDIAN NEVER HAS TO BE RESCUED BECAUSE WE STAND BEHIND THEM FOR LIFE. Please go to this page-post and make a comment asking for the dog to be returned to us - the breeder. Many, many people have already stepped in to help make this happen. Please go to their page and ask them to return the dog to us. She is legally ours by contract. Isn't this what every shelter is begging for - for breeders to step up and take responsibility for their dogs? Help us to hold this shelter accountable.
