Our son Spencer Wolff was killed early Tuesday morning on May 19th in this intersection and we’re not sure how it happened but when we put in his memorial cross we noticed that the stop sign is very old and in the early morning with rain might not have been as visible.  We want to make sure no more lives are lost and that fewer accidents occur here as one of the residents in this area have told us that way too many accidents happen here! We’d like at least a solar power stop sign if not a blinking caution light and preferably BOTH 

Please help us make this busy intersection safer by signing this petition to take to MDOT Traffic and Safety Engineer Nathan Schilling Grand Rapids center and Allegan County Sheriff’s office.

Spencer’s family and friends having been showing amazing support and love by placing stickers on the old stop sign so please take a moment if you’re in the area of M-40 toward Holland and 48th street which a direct line to Zeeland, Michigan to view the stickers and his memorial cross.  He was so beloved by friends who considered him more as a brother than just a friend and our family of four more brothers and two father’s ( his birth father and another brother lives in Illinois) and his momma bear who has loved him eternally and still will until I meet him again in Heaven!
