Last night I thought - why not grade FUSD/ FHS on this situation similar to the students.

Work Habits - 

Pays Attention: F - FUSD seems to think their patterns of delay, stonewalling, and lying will make this go away. Coach Vinuela doesn't seem to grasp his lack of paying attention to the failures of his coaching style is a major problem.

Works Independently: F - FUSD seems to consult with the entire district prior to responding to anything. Can't a real leader just make corrections? Coach Vinuela can't coach alone, instead he relies on assistants to do his work.

Works in Groups: District A, Coach Vinuela F - The district seems to all be compliant in the cover ups needed to continue their patterns above. Coach Vinuela however is so toxic he can't get many people to work with him.

Turns in Work On Time: District D, Coach Vinuela F - The district often requests longer periods to provide information via public records requests. Again supporting the patterns above of delay, stonewall, and lie. Coach Vinuela's water polo season has started and he has not been able to recruit enough boys for them to have subs during their game.

Treats Others With Respect: F - Both FUSD and Coach Vinuela have major issues with respectful and healthy communication.

Shows Self control: District D, Coach Vinuela F - District just can't seem to break free of the toxic patterns that led to this situation and so many others. Coach Vinuela's anger outburst are common knowledge.

The FUSD has major issues that need correction. Issues that marginalize the students they are supposed to be caring for. This entire situation is reflective of those issues and the incompetence of the leadership.
