Close school campuses in Fremont Unified School District to avoid spreading COVID-19

Close school campuses in Fremont Unified School District to avoid spreading COVID-19
The Issue
The community transmission of COVID-19 has gain its momentum. The numbers published by CDC is way below what is believable. Yet, currently there are 14 cases in Santa Clara County, 2 confirmed cases in Alameda County, 2 in San Mateo County, 4 cases in Contra Costa, and 1 death in California are reported. Gov. Newsom also just declared state of emergency due to coronavirus.
Moreover, the number is low because CDC has been tightly controlling who gets the test, and no test means no confirmation of infection! Various source / news has indicated that the virus can transmit asymptomatically for up to 24 days in some extreme cases.
Here we are looking for a PREVENTIVE solution for our students, not an "aftermath" solution after you see the first serious illness in Fremont school district. I here would like to ask again for an option to allow students to stay home as long as their parents are available. Also teaching remotely over the internet or school shut down are concrete options.
Please take this virus seriously. This is not a natural yet cause death virus. Keeping students in school is definitely not the right situation at the moment. We ask the school district of Fremont to close all schools.
