As promised from our last update, we are confirming that the city council meeting will take place on 9/10 starting at 5:30 p.m. at city hall.  Homeless/Housing Navigation Center is item 7A on the agenda.  It is listed as a decision item, and we expect city council to vote for the final location that night.  While there are several routine and consent calendar items before 7A, they may not take much time to discuss.  Plan on coming to city hall as early as you can.

The good folks at Niles won the first part of this fight.  They had been persistent in attending every city council meeting for over 2 months to voice their concerns and objections.  We should learn from the people of Niles and do the same thing to finish this fight.

I am confident that we will have a good outcome.  See you all on 9/10.  Bring everyone.
