Residents had asked the City Council to postpone the hearing until the newly elected City Council is seated. However, the hearing IS ON the November 15th agenda and unless councilmembers pass a motion to postpone, we all need to be prepared to present our views on Tuesday at 7:00 pm. We have asked the City Attorney to have Mayor Harrison recuse himself from discussing and voting on the Walnut Residences project on the basis that the CEO of Carmel Properties made a $25,000 donation to a PAC Restricted Use Account that was solely dedicated to support Harrison's bid for re-election.
