Are you from Manchester? Do you care about saving the beauty in our city? 

Then I need your help!

This is a light-hearted story, ultimately, but also demonstrates the need to save our public art from neglect. I hope you will consider covering it and speaking with me about it.

On the edge of town in Mayfield Park, there is a sculpture of our city's most prominent symbol, the bee. The beautiful sculpture is neglected, unseen and next to the bins. 

Let's put in a place where more Mancs get to see it.

I have started a petition to #FREETHEBEE and request The Mayfield Partnership to donate this bee to my area in Boothstown, so it can be on full display for local families to enjoy.
