We are launching this heartfelt plea to help Louis Arnaud, our friend, our brother, our son.

Louis is an ordinary person who has done everything in his power to realize a dream that has always consumed him: traveling the Silk Road by land and sea.

Sensitive to the preservation of our planet, Louis made the deliberate choice to avoid airplanes, thus asserting his ecological commitment during his journey.

Louis is a passionate traveler, who has always sought to understand and appreciate the different cultures of the world. He left in July 2022 with an open mind and respect, far from any intention to disturb or provoke.

After crossing Italy, Greece, and Turkey, Louis passed through Georgia and Armenia before entering the Islamic Republic of Iran where he will be arrested.

Since September 28, 2022, Louis has been detained in Evin Prison in Tehran. He was arrested along with an Italian, a Polish, and an Iranian he met on the roads, without anything officially being reproached.

Everyone has been released. Except for Louis.

The months go by and he feels completely helpless in the face of the situation.

Through this, we call on our government and its diplomacy, to support their efforts for his upcoming release. Before he is permanently scarred...

Obviously, we fear he may suffer irreversible psychological and physical damage. He needs our help.

Let's not leave an innocent man in prison.
