Freebirds used to be the best burrito eatery amongst intoxicated IV residents and locals alike. In recent years, and more than a few will agree, the quality and size of the burritos has decreased dramatically all the while the prices have only gone up through the roof. It's getting to a point where getting Freebirds is more of a financial burden than the exceptional culinary experience it used to be. We all remember the days of hefty burritos packed with meaty goodness, generous portions of rice and beans and all the other deliciousness that made arguably the best burrito in the state in California. The days when getting a monster burrito meant two large tortillas overlapping stuffed with ingredients. A burrito larger than your forearm and 4 days of constant food coma. Now, we get basically what the regular burrito used to be but for an even higher price then the original monster burrito. not to mention, if you wanna add guacamole, that'll set you back $3 for 1/2 an avocado worth. Even when at it's highest price, 1 full avocado at retail price at any store will run you $1.50 if that. 

We can all agree that the overall quality of our beloved Freebirds IV is nothing like it used to be. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we'd love to see burritos the size they used to be and if that's not something they're willing to do, at least offer the food for a reasonable price so that we're not getting $20 dollar burritos when we can get something twice as good for half as much just down the street at Super Cuca's. I call for everyone in the IV/Goleta/Santa Barbara community to join us in the fight to get the quality we were used to back. If a boycott is necessary I don't see why not partake. We're stronger together.
