On March 28th, people across Connecticut will take to the streets for No Kings Day. The FreeAbdus Campaign will be present with a coordinated voice and a clear set of demands rooted in justice, dignity, and accountability. We invite you to stand with us.

Our demands:

• Free the wrongfully convicted
• Pass the Wrongful Conviction Relief Act
• End incarceration based on technicalities, not truth
• Invest in rehabilitation, not punishment
• Protect family connection and humane visitation rights
• Fund communities, not cages
• Stop criminalizing mental illness, poverty and homelessness

We believe:

• Innocence should not be ignored.
• Families should not be punished.
• Justice should not depend on procedure over truth.
• Police Officers, State Attorneys, ICE are not above the LAW

This is about more than one case.
This is about changing a system.
