Global Campaign for Freedom of the Khosrow Alikordi Memorial Detainees

A Statement Addressed to the International Community and Governments Worldwide

We, activists and organizations committed to Woman, Life, Freedom and calling for the revolutionary overthrow of the Islamic Republic of Iran, issue this statement addressed to the international community, including governments, parliaments, the United Nations, UN Fact-Finding Mission on Iran, human rights institutions, and international public opinion.

1. Immediate Demand: The Immediate and Unconditional Release of Those Arrested at the Memorial of Khosrow Alikordi

We demand the immediate, full, and unconditional release of all individuals arrested at the memorial ceremony of Khosrow Alikordi— a human rights activist and lawyer for a number of protesters and justice-seeking families of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” revolution.

The arrest of at least 39 individuals during the ceremony on December 12, 2025, in Mashhad, and the beating of a significant number of them, constitutes part of a systematic policy of repression, intimidation, and the criminalization of any form of commemoration, civil and political protest, and socio-political activism in Iran under the rule of the Islamic Republic.

These violent arrests are a clear instance of grave violations of human rights, freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, and human dignity. We call upon all international figures and institutions to employ all their practical mechanisms to protest the Islamic Republic and to exert pressure on this government so that the following detainees are released:

2. The Islamic Republic Is Not the Representative of the People of Iran; It Is the Killer of the People of Iran

In line with a large, coordinated, and global campaign by forces committed to Woman, Life, Freedom for the release of those arrested at the memorial of Khosrow Alikordi, we declare unequivocally:The Islamic Republic is not the representative of the people of Iran. This regime has imposed itself upon society through reliance on naked repression, executions, torture, rape, imprisonment, and the killing of protesters
The Islamic Republic is a brutal and violence-driven regime accused of crimes against humanity; a government that enjoys no legitimacy among the people of Iran and has survived solely through force, repression, and executions.

3. No to Negotiation! No to Appeasement! Yes to the Will of the Majority of the People of Iran! Yes to Woman LIfe Freedom!

Our message to European governments, the United States of America, and other global powers is clear:
Negotiation with the Islamic Republic amounts to legitimizing repression.

Appeasement of this regime means turning one’s back on the struggles of the people of Iran and standing against women and the victims of violence and organized state crimes.

Policies based on “engagement,” “crisis management,” or “changing the regime’s behavior” have failed and have only led to the continuation of crimes.
Therefore, we call for:

• The immediate cessation of any and all negotiations with the Islamic Republic
• The severance of diplomatic relations with this regime
• A comprehensive political boycott
• Put the IRGC on the list of terrorist organizations.
• And holding the leaders, agents, and representatives of the Islamic Republic accountable before international judicial bodies

4. The Responsibility of the International Community

Silence, inaction, and double standards have emboldened the Islamic Republic in committing crimes. The international community cannot simultaneously claim to defend human rights while shaking hands with a government that tramples the fundamental rights of the people of Iran on a daily basis.

The people of Iran, in the Woman, Life, Freedom revolution following the state killing of Jina Mahsa Amini, have clearly declared:

• We do not want this regime.
• We want freedom, equality, secularism, human dignity, and a society without the Islamic Republic.

5. Final Message

We call upon all governments, organizations, international institutions, unions, political parties, and the awakened consciences of the world to:

• Stand alongside the oppressed people of Iran, not alongside their oppressors and killers
• Be the voice of political prisoners and those sentenced to death
• Support the women’s movement against the regime of gender apartheid and against executions, and support the struggles of students and workers
• Support the right of the people of Iran to overthrow this regime and to determine their own destiny

بیانیه خطاب به جامعه جهانی، دولت‌ها، سازمان‌ها و نهادهای بین‌المللی

در خصوص مراسم یادبود خسرو علیکردی و بازداشت فعالان و دادخواهان

ما، نیروها و کنشگران متعهد به زن زندگی آزادی و خواهان سرنگونی انقلابی جمهوری اسلامی، این بیانیه را خطاب به جامعه جهانی، از جمله نهادهای حقوق بشری، سازمانهای بین‌المللی، کمیته حقیقت‌یاب، دولت‌ها، پارلمان‌ها، و افکار عمومی جهان صادر می‌کنیم.

۱. مطالبه فوری: آزادی بی‌قید و شرط و فوری بازداشت‌شدگان مراسم زنده‌یاد خسرو علیکردی
ما خواستار آزادی فوری، کامل و بی‌قید و شرط تمامی بازداشت‌شدگان مراسم خسرو علیکردی خسرو علیکردی، فعال حقوق بشر و وکیل جمعی از معترضین و خانواده‌های دادخواه انقلاب «زن، زندگی، آزادی» هستیم. بازداشت دست کم ۳۹ نفر در مراسم روز ۱۲ دسامبر ۲۰۲۵ در مشهد، و ضرب و شتم بخش قابل توجهی از آنها، بخشی از سیاست سیستماتیک سرکوب، ارعاب و جرم‌انگاری هرگونه یادبود، اعتراض مدنی و سیاسی، و کنش اجتماعی - سیاسی در ایران تحت حاکمیت جمهوری اسلامی است.

این بازداشت‌های خشونت بار، مصداق آشکار نقض فاحش حقوق بشر، آزادی بیان، آزادی تجمع و کرامت انسانی است. ما از تمامی شخصیت‌ها و نهادهای بین‌المللی می‌خواهیم که در اعتراض به جمهوری اسلامی و تحت فشار قرار دادن این حکومتی همه ساز و کارهای عملی خود را بکار گیرند تا بازداشت شدگان بشرح ذیل آزاد شوند.

۲. جمهوری اسلامی نماینده مردم ایران نیست بلکه قاتل ما مردم ایران است
در راستای کارزار بزرگ، هماهنگ و جهانی از سوی نیروهای متعهد به زن زندگی آزادی برای آزادی بازداشت‌شدگان مراسم خسرو علیکردی ما با صراحت اعلام می‌کنیم:

جمهوری اسلامی نماینده مردم ایران نیست.  این حکومت، با اتکا به سرکوب عریان، اعدام، شکنجه، تجاوز، زندان، و کشتار معترضان، خود را بر جامعه تحمیل کرده است.

جمهوری اسلامی یک حکومت متوحش، خشونت‌گرا و متهم به جنایت علیه بشریت است؛ حکومتی که هیچ‌گونه مشروعیتی نزد مردم ایران ندارد و تنها با زور و سرکوب و اعدام بقا یافته است.

۳. نه به مذاکره، نه به مماشات – آری به خواست اکثریت مردم ایران
خطاب ما به دولت‌های اروپایی، ایالات متحده آمریکا و دیگر قدرت‌های جهانی روشن است:

مذاکره با جمهوری اسلامی، مشروعیت‌بخشی به سرکوب است.
مماشات با این رژیم، پشت کردن به مبارزات مردم ایران و در صف مقدم زنان و قربانیان خشونت ها و جنایات سازمان یافته حکومتی است.
سیاست‌های مبتنی بر «تعامل»، «مدیریت بحران» یا «تغییر رفتار رژیم» شکست خورده و تنها به تداوم جنایت انجامیده است.

بنابراین ما خواستار:

پایان فوری هرگونه مذاکره با جمهوری اسلامی
قطع روابط دیپلماتیک با این رژیم
بایکوت کامل سیاسی
سپاه را در فهرست سازمان های تروریستی قرار دهید.
و پاسخگو کردن سران و عوامل و نمایندگان جمهوری اسلامی در مراجع قضایی بین‌المللی هستیم.

۴. مسئولیت جامعه جهانی
سکوت، بی‌عملی و استانداردهای دوگانه، جمهوری اسلامی را در ارتکاب جنایت جسورتر کرده است. جامعه جهانی نمی‌تواند هم‌زمان مدعی دفاع از حقوق بشر باشد و همزمان با حکومتی که روزانه حقوق اولیه مردم ایران را پایمال می‌کند، دست بدهد.

مردم ایران در انقلاب زن زندگی آزادی پس از قتل حکومتی ژینامهسا امینی به‌روشنی اعلام کرده‌اند:
 ما این رژیم را نمی‌خواهیم.
 ما آزادی، برابری، سکولاریسم، کرامت انسانی و جامعه‌ای بدون جمهوری اسلامی می‌خواهیم.

۵. پیام پایانی
ما از تمامی دولت‌ها، سازمان‌ها، نهادهای بین‌المللی، اتحادیه‌ها، احزاب، و وجدان‌های بیدار جهان می‌خواهیم:

در کنار مردم تحت سرکوب ایران بایستند، نه در کنار سرکوبگران و قاتلان آنها
صدای زندانیان سیاسی و محکومین به اعدام باشند
از جنبش زنان علیه حکومت آپارتاید جنسیتی و علیه اعدام، از مبارزات دانشجویان و کارگران حمایت کنند
و از حق مردم ایران برای سرنگونی این رژیم و تعیین سرنوشت خود حمایت کنند

زن، زندگی، آزادی
 سرنگونی جمهوری اسلامی، خواست مردم ایران است.
