Sheba was placed in an out of state shelter late last year. Her life was spared( thanks to all of you and many others outside of this petition)but now Pepe has to travel over 1400 miles to visit his Sheba for only 6 hours. That's all that's allowed. Being that i got involved, and I live fairly closet to Pepe, I was asked if I could accompany him to visit his dog. I found this to be a great honor and accepted. While visiting the shelter, I take lots of pics and video. You guys can view them on Facebook in a group called "Sheba & Pepe. Their Story Continues". .

Folks we need your help again. These visits cost over $1000 per trip. It involves a rental car for 1 week, motel fare for 2 nights, gas and food. Ok so I don't live fairly close to Pepe. I've takin him twice to visit Sheba. My trip starts in Tucson, AZ. I paid for the rental, gas and most of the food for Pepe and myself. The group paid for the motel both times. Last time was over the 4th of July and it was over $500. So I drive to San Bernardino to pick up Pepe. From there we head to southern Utah. Believe me. It's a wonderful rescue with thousands of acres and many species of rescued animals. Everyone there is very friendly and they all love Sheba. They are also aware of her story and are very sympathetic. 

Ever since Sheba was moved out of state, the group "Free Sheba" has ejected certain people and no one knows why. Pepe is on a fixed income, as am I, and this makes it difficult to make these trips. A few donations were made by a few but only enough for Pepe to visit once or twice a year. Pepe is 82 and Sheba is 14. Neither have much time left. She's truly a gental soul and very playful. When it's time to leave she senses sorrow in Pepe's heart and she crys. As does he. As do I. It's a very sad time to depart as we have no idea when he's coming back.
